Rather than hanging tight for a legitimate remaster that may never get released(unless the GTA Online cash out of nowhere evaporates), we have some devoted dedicated fans that volunteered to further develop the San Andreas visuals to make the game look great again.
It actually plays like nothing else, sure, however, it no longer looks all that great. While it was powerful noteworthy back in 2004, GTA San Andreas has not matured so well.
